										<b style="font-size:10px;font-style:italic;color:dimgray;text-transform:uppercase;">

											How does the point system work?</b>

										<br>

										Each player will have different pools of points for each raid zone. Points earned and spent in Molten Core have no effect on points from Black Wing Lair, etc.

										<br>

										<br>

										<div style="width:100px;border-top:1px dotted #aaaaaa;">&nbsp;</div>

										<b style="font-size:10px;text-transform:uppercase;">PROCEDURES:</b>

										<br>

										<br>

										<b style="font-size:10px;font-style:italic;color:dimgray;text-transform:uppercase;">

											The Auction Process:</b>

										<br>

										An Officer, upon a boss death, will announce in raid chat the item being auctioned. This is a timed process of one minute. Due to the competitive nature of the bidding process, members will be responsible for keeping track of their own point totals. It's also a good idea to research the loot tables so you can be prepared when items you want drop. Interested players are given one chance to bid (one tell to the auctioning officer). Furthermore, bids are unretractable so bid with confidence. Your numerical bid will be the maximum value you wish to pay for the item. This particular method of auctioning provides a vast amount of freedom -- if you desire a particular item very badly, then bid high.

										<br>

										<br>

										<b style="font-size:10px;font-style:italic;color:dimgray;text-transform:uppercase;">

											Example:</b>

										<br>

										An epic robe drops. Player A has 30 points. Player B has 20 points. Player A

										feels the robe is worth 15 points. Player B feels the item is worth 20 points.

										Simultaneously, the two players send their bid via whisper to the auctioning

										officer. At the end of the two minutes, Player B wins the robe for 16 points.

										Player A should not be upset that they lost the auction because he should have

										realized that he has more points than Player B. If he had really wanted the

										item, he could have bid 21 points.

										<br>

										<br>

										In the event of a tie (multiple bids of the same value), the item will be

										rolled and the winner's points deducted.

										<br>

										<br>

										Any attempts to thwart, corrupt or disrupt the bidding process in any way will

										be met with officer intervention and the offending parties disciplined.

										<br>

										<br>

										<b style="font-size:10px;font-style:italic;color:dimgray;text-transform:uppercase;">

											Minimum Bids:</b>

										<br>

										The first time an item drops it has a minimum bid of 1 point. If the item is won for more than 1 point the new

										minimum bid becomes 75% of the winning bid. So for example if an item is won for 100 points the next time

										it drops a player cannot win the item for less than 75 points. This can continue on until the minimum bid is back

										to 1 point or if the winning bids continue to rise so will the minimum bids. Minimum bids were implemented to prevent the "raping" of another player's points without

										appropriate repercussions to one's own points in the future should one choose to bid on the item in question.

										<br>

										<br>

										<div style="width:100px;border-top:1px dotted #aaaaaa;">&nbsp;</div>

										<b style="font-size:10px;text-transform:uppercase;">Earning Points:</b>

										<br>

										After each raid, present officers will discuss the completed event and

										designate a point value (within the range) for the raid. There are many

										thoughts factored into this decision: overall efficiency of the raid,

										smoothness, completed goals, discipline, time spent, Ventrilo usage, excessive

										talk/spam, and level of play. The goal of this is to provide incentive to the

										playerbase to listen to the leaders and play properly. Play well, get things

										done, and you will receive more points than if there were, for example,

										excessive arguments, poor behavior, and improper use of the established lines

										of communication.

										<br>

										<br>

										<div style="width:100px;border-top:1px dotted #aaaaaa;">&nbsp;</div>

										<b style="font-size:10px;text-transform:uppercase;">Penalties:</b>

										<br>

										It is indeed possible to have points subtracted.

										<br>

										<br>

										The raid schedules are there for a reason. If a member is absent from a raid

										without a proper post on the forum, ten points will be subtracted from their

										totals for each occurance. You are detrimental to the success of the guild if

										you do not inform us.

										<br>

										<br>

										Excessive, lengthy and poorly timed AFK's will result in a penalty of points awarded for the night. For example, if a Major Domo kill was deemed to be worth 5 points, then you would receive only 4 if you held up the raid by an AFK (such as going AFK without telling anyone right before a charge). The amount deducted would be based on severity.

										<br>

										<br>

										It may be necessary to subtract points based on officer discretion. Following

										directions provided by officers are an extremely important part of the guild.

										If an officer tells you to be quiet on Ventrilo during a raid, then you had

										better do it. Failure to follow directions will result in a point deduction.

										Discipline is important here. Excessive whining would be something that would

										fall under this category.

										<br>

										<br>

										<div style="width:100px;border-top:1px dotted #aaaaaa;">&nbsp;</div>

										<b style="font-size:10px;text-transform:uppercase;">Standby:</b>

										<br>

										Players available and ready to raid when invites are done but not in the raid will be put on the standby list and will receive points equal to that being earned by members in the raid. Standby players must be ready to join the raid at a moments notice. If called upon and a player is not ready or not available they will not receive any points for standby that night.

										<br>

										<br>

										<div style="width:100px;border-top:1px dotted #aaaaaa;">&nbsp;</div>

										<i>Remember that items are mere pixels and to not be angry if you lose an auction. If you don't win an item, chances are you'll get it next time and sometimes for less points. ITEMS ARE CODE STORED ON A DATABASE SERVER..</i>
